Olive oil is a blessing in our religion (Quran, 24: 35).
And did you know these important olive oil facts.
- Use within 3 months of opening. Don’t buy in large quantities unless you will use it quickly.
- Protect the oil from light.
- Store in terra cotta, green or brown glass, stainless steel, or tin; never plastic.
- Keep in cool, dark place with a tight lid.
There is a disagreement about refrigerating olive oil. One camp says no; condensation forms inside the container. Another says yes; it is perishable.
